Our Story

PaymentCloud got its start in 2015 with just 3 members, a garage, and a mission. Shawn Silver, the CEO and visionary, had an idea to start a merchant services company that would not only support any business type but also leads with low rates and a personalized touch. He didn’t want to be like his competition… he wanted to be better.

Because of his drive and the support from his fellow team members, PaymentCloud was born.

From that point on, the team has expanded to

over 60 members and graduated into a 15,527 sqft space on one of the most historic and bustling streets in Los Angeles, Ventura boulevard. Everyday our whole staff, from account representatives and agents to administration and marketing, strives to fulfill our goals and disrupt the industry of payments. With a wide range of supporting banks, a long list of chargeback and fraud mitigation solutions, and a real person to actually answer your call, we think that we are halfway there.

At our Core, PaymentCloud strives to secure payment processing for any type of business, whether that be high risk, low risk, or simply hard to place industries. We promise to guide our merchants with inclusivity, creativity, and transparency along every step of the way. Our personalized approach sets us apart from others like us and we want to continue to expand and adapt in that direction.

To be able to support the wants and needs of every customer is the reason that PaymentCloud was created. But there is always room for improvement in this space. We want to see payment innovations that will make the process of a transaction faster, safer, and easier for both the merchant and their customers. Being a part of this change helps us to continue to work for the things that matter… you.

Support the customer by doing whatever it takes to fulfill their wants and needs for their business and its transactional goals.

Develop the team by building each of them up in an environment of fairness, fellowship, and fun, both in the office and out.

Evolve and adapt by seeing where we are compared to where we could be in every aspect of the business.
