.

  1. Hook your finger beneath the latch on top of your Verifone VX520 device and lift it to access the printer tray.
  2. Remove any existing paper that may still be inside the paper roll cover. After doing this, remove any potential adhesive residue from your new roll of receipt paper.
  3. Place your new paper roll inside the printer tray so that it feeds from the bottom. Leave a small length of paper hanging out of the opening.
  4. After properly closing your paper roll cover, you will hear a clicking sound, letting you know that everything is in its right place. Following this, tear off the small length of excess printer paper. You are now ready to start printing.

The Verifone VX520 is PCI compliant in accordance with the standards set forth by Pin Transaction Security, or PTS.

In 2020, the Verifone VX520 was announced as entering its End of Life stage. As of 2023, the product was officially declared End of Service.
