Having a merchant account is not a requirement for purchasing the Ingenico Desk 1500. However, once you start processing transactions, you will need to have a merchant account set up sooner or later.
The Ingenico Desk 1500 does not have its own receipt printer.

The Ingenico Desk 1500 was declared End Of Life in December 2022. September 30th, 2023 served as the final date that the product could be ordered through Ingenico. The final requestable ship date for the Desk 1500 was December 31st, 2023.
December 31st, 2026 is the last day that Ingenico customers will be able to receive full, comprehensive support regarding their Desk 1500. Details regarding specific service agreements and warranties will be taken into consideration when determining the volume of support and maintenance that merchants can expect during the End Of Life period.
The Desk 1500 can be used as-is or otherwise mounted on a flat, stable surface.
