The Valor VP550 runs off a long-lasting lithium-ion battery that serves as an upgrade from previous Valor models.
From the VP550 display, select the icon consisting of three horizontal bars. Selecting this icon will take you to the MAIN MENU.
From the main menu, you will select the SETTINGS option. From here, you can customize and modify various elements of your Valor PayTech device. In Settings, you can clear reversals, configure details of your wireless network, change your password, and more.
The default password for your Valor VP550 is the last four digits of your EPI number, which will appear on your display after your device connects to the network. Entering your EPI number will initiate parameter downloads for this device.
