The Ingenico Move 5000 offers wireless connectivity options, including WiFi and 4G, though it can also be used with a USB cable and an auxiliary power jack.

Both terminals are outfitted with touchscreen capabilities, and both have a nearly identical display and pin pad. However, the Move 5000 is outfitted with a barcode scanner, which is not included with the Desk 5000. While the Desk 5000 offers options for a privacy shield or magic box, the Move 5000 offers users a car charger option along with a multi-purpose docking station. The Move 5000’s thermal printer is also slightly faster and the terminal itself supports WAN and LAN-based connectivity.
