In order to access the main menu on the PAX S300, press “FUNC” and “1” simultaneously. After entering the device password, confirm by pressing the green button on the keypad. Navigate by tapping the downward arrow on the screen and choose “Communication.” Re-enter the password when prompted.
This error arises when the terminal cannot successfully transmit payment data to the PAX device to undergo processing.
On the main screen, hold down the blue “FUNC” key, and press “1”. Then, enter your password and press the green enter key. Now select the host settings option on the main menu and enter your password again. Finally, select the down arrow and press the batch close button.
The default password for the PAX S300 is 916860.
