To unlock the keyboard on the VX520, you must enter the password. The password is 1, alpha, alpha, 6, 6, 8, 3, 1, enter.
The default Verifone VX520 password is 1, alpha, alpha, 6, 6, 8, 3, 1, enter.
The Verifone VX520 uses a 2 ¼ in. x 55 in. standard paper roll.
In the setup menu on your device, scroll down until you see the date/time option. Next, enter the time in HH:MM:SS format, including 00 for seconds. Finally, press enter to the time.
Open the paper roll cover and remove the old roll. Drop the new roll into the tray and pull the leading edge of the paper until all the glue residue is past the edge of the device, usually about one inch. Now, close the paper cover and you are ready to use it!
